Each English letter gives one Arabic letter, so type only the letters you want to see: slam gives سلام. Capitals give the deep letters. Numbers work inside a word, as in Arabizi.

كل حرف لاتيني يكتب حرفًا عربيًا واحدًا، فاكتب الحروف التي تريد أن تظهر فقط: slam تصبح سلام. الحروف الكبيرة تكتب الحروف المفخّمة، والأرقام داخل الكلمة تعمل كما في الأرابيزي.

Standard Arabic has no letter for the G sound, and writers handle it differently by region. Pick the one you normally read, and the keyboard remembers it. Iraq and parts of the Levant use گ, Algeria and Tunisia use ڨ, and Morocco uses ݣ.

لا يوجد في العربية الفصحى حرف لصوت G، ويكتبه الناس بطرق مختلفة حسب المنطقة. اختر الحرف الذي اعتدت قراءته، وستتذكره لوحة المفاتيح. في العراق وأجزاء من الشام يُكتب گ، وفي الجزائر وتونس ڨ، وفي المغرب ݣ.

The Maghreb writes 123, and the Mashriq writes ١٢٣. The number keys type the set you pick, and Shift gives the other one.
